The Learning Disabilities Association of PEI (LDAPEI) provides support, guidance and practical assistance to Islanders living with a Learning Disability. These learning disabilities include dyslexia (difficulties with language, spelling, and reading), dyscalculia (difficulties with math skills and concepts), and dysgraphia (difficulties with written expression), among others.
One of LDAPEI’s community programs is their One to One Tutoring program. This program has been active in Prince County since 2015, offering tutoring in five locations across the county. While this program has seen a lot of success so far, there are still a significant number of young Islanders out there who aren’t getting the support that could really make a difference in their lives.
One of the biggest barriers to parents is cost. As a not for profit charity, LDAPEI works hard to keep the cost of their services as low as possible.
This is where you come in!
With every purchase of a ‘Sweet Success’ sundae, you will be helping LDAPEI to reduce the cost of their One to One Tutoring program, making this service more accessible to young Islanders and their families in Prince County and beyond.
